As a group of like-minded individuals, we are passionate about bringing about change to our surroundings. With a history of involvement in the charitable sector, we formed our own charity so that we can carry out our passion helping those in our community who need it. Our aim is to reduce poverty around us, hoping our efforts inspire others to do what they can too.

Set-up in early September 2018, Global Mercy / Local Mercy UK, was registered to the Charity Commission in April 2019 (Reg No 1183017).

Our mission is simple, we wish to be part of the effort to eradicate poverty for good both at home and away.

​

We began in our local community by recognising an alarming statistic in regards to homelessness which has risen exponentially, also the huge influx of refugees to our country. 

​​

• So, since our inception EVERY WEDNESDAY we provide food for 50 homeless and those in need.

• EVERY THURSDAY we provided hampers filled with essentials to 12 refugee flats each housing up to 5 persons.
